Royal Icing 

Yield: 5 cups Royal Icing

Prep Time: 15 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/3 cup meringue powder

  • 1/2 cup warm water

  • 2 tsp. clear vanilla

  • 5 cups confectioners' sugar

INSTRUCTIONS
 

  1. Add meringue powder to mixer.

  2. Add warm water to meringue powder.

  3. Add clear vanilla.

  4. Use whisk attachment to mix the meringue, vanilla and water together until frothy. 

  5. Change to the paddle attachment.

  6. Slowly mix in sugar two cups at a time.

  7. Mix on high for 2 minutes. Do not over mix.

  8. Cover tightly until ready to use.
